Saff & The Hinge Knockers is a Chicago Suburbs based funk-rock band dedicated to grooving hard and knocking people's hinges off even harder. They are currently recording their 3rd studio ep while continuing to bring epically exquisite entertainment to a venue near you! 

The band currently consists of 4ish members. John Saffrahn on lead vocals and guitar, Jon Bostjancic on bass and background vocals, Andy Hrvatin on guitar and background vocals, and George Georgacopoulos on drums. Also, we must mention special guest Steve Ashum, co-producer and studio keyboard player. While the band is mainly focused on funkin and rockin at the moment, Saff & The Hinge Knockers have been known to dabble in various other genres over the years including folk, outlaw country, blues, and jazz. 

Originally, Saff & The Hinge Knockers started as an outlaw country studio collective. They were made up of a group Saffrahn's good friends who helped create the first Hinge Knocker's EP, Too Far West. Simultaneously, Saffrahn was working on another studio project under the name 3 in the Bush. Heavily inspired by Steely Dan, 3 in the Bush focused more on jazz-rock fusion. Initially, Saffrahn would keep the two projects separate due to the wide difference in genre. But in 2024, Saffrahn would merge the two projects together after uniting with the current members and also being very tired of having two accounts for everything.
